Much attention has been given to customizing this site for San Francisco, but in some cases it is not possible to make changes that impact the nationwide system.
What makes the San Francisco site different? Well, mainly the name of the site, Network of Support for Community Living. The San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services spent months collecting community input about this Web site and what would make it feel right for San Francisco. The use of the word "care" was not always welcome by everyone in our community and we want to be inclusive and welcoming to all who visit our site. We are constantly trying to improve what we do and welcome your input.
